Amit & Angelica ties the knot

East meets West at this grand wedding between Amit & Angelica.

My first impression of this traditional Hindu Ceremony was, "The room is full of love & laughter". Amit was standing with family and friends, chatting, laughing and looking very handsome in his sherwani - ha! my knowledge of Indian wedding attire has improved much!

Angelica was escorted into the room in the midst of all this laughter, smiling and welcoming faces and the aroma of incense following her. She looked very dramatic in her red sari.

We decided to shoot their portrait at the One & Only Royal Mirage. The interior of the Arabian Court was a perfect setting to match their outfits. We even found a Maharaja chair which Amit claimed as his own!

The evening reception was in stunningly Bollywood style. Sari's & sherwani's were rubbing shoulders with Armani's & Versace's. The ballroom was decorated in soft chiffons and lights were playing across the room highligting the beautifully decorated tables and very elegant guests. Amit & Angelica's wedding was a perfect combination of classical Indian culture and understated Western elegance.
